VESTRY HIGHLIGHTS

  • Discussed a fundraiser for “St. David’s Nights” at local restaurants. See Eric R. for details.
  • Planned Spring Clean-Up day for April 2nd to clean up the campus. 10AM – Noon.
  • Discussed revising rental rates for the church.
  • Discussed how we keep financial records.
  • Devotional meditation. and prayer


 
ON THE HORIZON:  

EASTER FLOWERS 
This Sunday (Palm Sunday) is your last opportunity to donate Easter flowers and have them included in the Easter bulletin. Pick up an envelope at the back of the church, write your instructions on the envelope, enclose your check and place in the offertory plate.

PASTORAL CARE COMMITTEE
HELP!  We are forming a Pastoral Care Team to review and assess pastoral care needs and to pray for those members who need prayer and visits. We will meet monthly at the Rectory. Please email Mthr. Liz to find out more if you feel called to this ministry.

CONFIRMATION 
Regional Confirmations will be held on Saturday, April23rd in DeKalb. Some preparation and instruction is required before an individual can be confirmed. Please speak to Rev. Liz or Deacon Debbie before Easter if you are considering being confirmed.

ORGAN RECITAL THIS SUNDAY at 4:00
St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Glen Ellyn has put together a fantastic season of Organ Recitals coming up over the next few months. The concerts are free.and feature world renowned organists. The next concert is THIS Sunday, March 20th at 4:00 PM and features internationally known organist, Isabelle Demers. For more information, click here: Organ Recital Series

SPRING CLEAN-UP – SAT, APRIL 2nd
Join us as we “walk the grounds” of our beautiful campus and pick up whatever trash the winter winds blew in and spruce up the Memorial Garden.  Bring gardening gloves and willing hearts.  10:00 AM – Noon.
