THE WAY OF TRANSITION: SEEING CHANGE AS A SPIRITUAL PROCESS  Join Saint David’s and Trinity for this life-giving seminar on Friday 4/22 & Saturday 4/23 given by Transitions coach Beverly Ryle. We start with supper and introductions on Friday evening (6-8pm) followed by a day long retreat on Saturday (9-3).  Cost $25. ECW Annual Meeting and Luncheon Saturday, April 23, at St. John’s in Flossmoor.  The topic is “Bullying–It even happens in Church.” Registration is $25 before April 16; $35 at the door. PASTORAL CARE COMMITTEE
A Pastoral Care Team is being formed to discuss pastoral care needs and concerns and to pray for those members who are going through difficult periods in their lives. We will meet monthly at the Rectory. Please email Mthr. Liz to find out more if you feel called to this ministry.

REV. ANDREW WHITE – THIS Tuesday, April 5th at 7:30 pm in Barrows Auditorium at Wheaton College.  Rev. White .is the former Rector of St. George’s Church in Baghdad and will be speaking about his ministry among Iraqi refugees in Jordan. The program is free.

AMY-JILL LEVINE is a Professor of New Testament Studies and of Jewish Studies at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Levine will lecture on  “Of Pearls and Prodigals: Hearing Jesus’ Parables” at St. James Commons on Thursday 4/28 at 4:00 pm. On Friday, 4/29 at Grace Church in Oak Park, she will lecture on “Preaching the difficult anti-Jewish texts” at 7:00pm. More information on the Diocese of Chicagowebsite.
