YOUTH DAY AT THE CATHEDRAL Saturday, April 16th  9:00  – 3:00. Join Kim K and carpool to this fantastic event. There will be games, a velcro Wall, and a Chicago Hot Dog truck! This is a GREAT way to connect with other Youth in the Diocese of Chicago.  You must RSVP by TODAY, April 8th.  Find the Registration and Permission forms HERE or call Kim Krone. 

THE DAUGHTERS OF THE KING (DOK)  Spring Assembly isSaturday, April 16th from 8:30 – 1:00 at St. Andrew’s Downers Grove. There will be a presentation by Thistle Farms and Magdalene House, Chicago. RSVP TODAY to Gail Z.at  gzieche@gmail.com.

TRANSITIONS: SEEING CHANGE AS A SPIRITUAL PROCESS  Change is inevitable. Learn how to manage change as a spiritual process with Transitions Coach and Retreat Leader Beverley Ryle at this life-giving seminar on Friday 4/22 & Saturday 4/23.  We start with a Potluck Dinner and introductions on Friday 4/22 (6-8pm) and spend Saturday 4/23 (9-3) learning the keys to making transitions a holy and spiritual process. Cost $25. Scholarships are available. Register with Mthr Liz or Eric R. by April 15th.

ECW ANNUAL MEETING AND LUNCHEON is Saturday, April 23, at St. John’s in Flossmoor.  The topic is “Bullying–It even happens in Church.” Registration is $25 before April 16; $35 at the door. AMY-JILL LEVINE is a Professor of New Testament Studies and of Jewish Studies at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Levine will lecture on  “Of Pearls and Prodigals: Hearing Jesus’ Parables” at St. James Commons on Thursday 4/28 at 4:00 pm. On Friday, 4/29 at Grace Church in Oak Park, she will lecture on “Preaching the difficult anti-Jewish texts” at 7:00pm. More information on the Diocese of Chicagowebsite.
