ECW ANNUAL MEETING Saturday, April 23, at St. John’s in Flossmoor. The topic is “Bullying–It even happens in Church.” Registration is $25 before April 16; $35 at the door. Registration forms are available downstairs and all women are invited. Information: See Kate Milliman.

ORGAN RECITAL  SUNDAY, 4/24 at 4:00 PM at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Glen Ellyn.  Raul Ramirez is an international elite among organists, a Spaniard whose music making has a distinct Mediterranean flair.

AMY-JILL LEVINE is a Professor of New Testament Studies and of Jewish Studies at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Levine will lecture on  “Of Pearls and Prodigals: Hearing Jesus’ Parables” at St. James Commons on Thursday 4/28 at 4:00 pm. On Friday, 4/29 at Grace Church in Oak Park, she will lecture on “Preaching the difficult anti-Jewish texts” at 7:00pm. More information on the Diocese of Chicago website.
